Step 1: Cleanse your face
Always start with clean skin. Remove make-up, dirt, and excess sebum with a gentle cleanser. An LED mask works best on clean skin so that the light can directly reach the skin cells.
Step 2: Choose the right mode
Most LED masks have multiple color modes:
- Red (630nm): Anti-aging, collagen production, and skin rejuvenation
- Near-infrared (850nm): Deeper tissue repair and anti-inflammatory
- Blue (415nm): Acne treatment and killing bacteria
- Yellow (590nm): Reducing redness and calming
Step 3: Wear the mask
Place the mask comfortably on your face. Ensure a good fit so that the light is evenly distributed. Close your eyes — most masks are safe for the eyes, but it's more comfortable to keep them closed.
Step 4: Treatment duration
A standard session lasts 10–20 minutes. Start with 10 minutes if you are new to LED therapy and gradually build up. Daily use gives the best results.
Step 5: Aftercare
After the treatment, apply your usual skincare routine — serum, moisturizer, and sunscreen during the day. The skin is extra receptive to active ingredients after LED treatment.
How often?
For anti-aging and skin rejuvenation: daily or 5 times a week. For acne: 3–5 times a week. Be consistent — results are visible after 4–8 weeks.
